Chicago Heights, IL is one of six communities to receive a Choice Neighborhoods (CN) Planning grant from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). By combining the resources available through HUD’s Choice Neighborhoods Program with our commitment to community improvement and high quality mixed-income neighborhoods we can revitalize the Downtown and East Side neighborhoods. Through an inclusive community planning process, we will develop concrete strategies for improving and investing in our neighborhoods, providing high-quality housing and connecting people to opportunity.
